With over 30 years of premium experience in the horse business, Shawn Mack not only enjoys coaching his riders as they attend competitions throughout the East coast, but also competes successfully in the hunter and Grand Prix rings himself.

Shawn believes that a strong, solid foundation is the key to riding success, and that a mastery of fundamental skills will allow more complex skills to develop with ease over time. While he knows that it takes hard work and determination to become a good rider, he also believes that it's the true love of horses and the sport that make an exceptional rider. His easygoing, low-key manner helps him to relate to riders and horses without the pressure that comes from intense practice.

Shawn's students have competed at some of the top show in the country, as well as qualifying for Zone Finals, Pony Finals, National Horse Show, and Devon. Shawn himself also competes nationally in the hunter, jumper, and Grand Prix rings
